PTI was established in 1950 operating as a Midwestern carrier based in Milford, Ohio. In 1987, AmeriGas Propane LP, the largest retail propane marketer in the United States acquired PTI and enabled the company to expand its hauling activities to where it is today. PTI specializes in transporting a variety of commodities across the United States and is an industry leader for third-party logistics and transportation solutions.
